Just a couple of weekends ago, Brad and I had the pleasure of shooting an extra special wedding. Michelle and Matthew are perfect for each other in every way. It only takes being in their presence for a few moments to see how well they balance each other. They met at their church, St. Paul’s, so having their wedding there was perfection. The amazing cathedral was made even more beautiful as these two spoke their vows. Their first look took place just before the ceremony in the gardens at the Marston House which also had special significance to them since Matthew used to live next door. We couldn’t have asked for a lovelier or more intimate spot to photograph these two as they laid eyes on each for the first time on their wedding day. It was beautiful. After the ceremony, we made our way to the Abbey just across the street from the church. It was the perfect spot for an evening of dinner and dancing and as a photographer, I loved that I could take pictures from a bird’s eye view on the upper level. All in all, it was a perfect day and we are so happy for these two.
I can’t say enough how special it was to be a part of Michelle and Matthew’s wedding. I’ve known Michelle and her family since junior high and I’m so thrilled to see her so radiant with happiness from being with Matthew.
Michelle and Matthew, congratulations to you both! We hope you are having the most amazing honeymoon ever and we wish you all the happiness in the world. xoxo Merrilee & Brad
